About the art

I've long struggled to communicate my chaotic mind through different art mediums and I'll be the last person to say that I'm actually good at any of this. 

Because of that heavy lack of confidence, I had no other choice but to simply be brave and start. After breaking my hand in the summer of 2022, I used the opportunity to make digital art a part of the rehab process, creating a habit and ritual that continues to help develop my skills and bring me joy today.

Much of my art utilizes templates. Whether it's a photograph or a stencil, they have helped me develop my line art and digital art style to what it is today. It is never my intention to copy, but if any images feel familiar that may be why. As such, not all art is for sale. Images that copy the likeness of known characters is too close to the fire. Please enjoy those below for free.

Ultimately, the art of Fat Crowley is a revolution against the voices that tell us we are less than enough, demanding our courage on display to be simply, proudly ourselves. It tries to express color, joy, and fun over even the most painful needs, and is a place I pour my thoughts and mind.
